This year, the Tuareg Rallye will take part in Tunisia. New tracks, new landscapes, new hotels and also a different infrastructure. This new boundary conditions make it necessary to adapt the concept of the Tuareg Rallye 2013. We have spend the last few months, to offer you a thoughtful concept, which uses the new boundary conditions in an optimum way.

Your aim is to offer you a challenging, interesting, varied and on the same hand save track with good access for the service and a good infrastructure at the paddocks. We have find this solution on our last pre tour in Tunisia. Challenging offroad, difficult navigation and of course sand will mark the track of the Tuareg Rallye 2013. You can expect the same fun as in Morocco.

In the region of the Tuareg Rallye, Tunisia did have a higher capacity of hotels on a higher level. All paddocks will be in hotels in big cities. More rooms and modern hotels offers you a higher comfort for the same price. Selection of accommodation tent, combination tent and room or room in all hotels is the same, as in Morocco. Single rooms are available in Tunisia.

Tuareg Rallye 2013 Getting there
In opposite to morocco, Tunisia did have big hotels in the region of the Tuareg Rallye. We will use this advantage for meeting point and winner party. Winner party and meeting point in Spain is not longer necessary. This decouple ferry and rallye.

For those with transport by service team they don’t need a ferry any more. They just book the flight to Tunisia instead of Spain. Additional the rented car from the airport to the hotel can now be used during the rallye. Those which still have to travel by vehicle, have now the possibility to use the standard ferry offered by the organisation or to book there individual ferry and travel to Tunisia earlier. This we recommend for service teams, because the timetable at the first day is narrow. With the lower costs for travelling to Genova. The total costs for service teams are lower.
